The morning of Jess and Aneel’s big day started out the way every bride dreads. Rain. Not just a slight drizzle here and there, it POURED and wouldn’t stop. Obviously being a photographer I panicked, the thought of doing the formals inside and not being able to take advantage of the beautiful venue they had chosen made me extremely anxious.
I arrived at The Chainbride Hotel in Llangollen where the bride prep was held. As soon as I walked into the room I was welcomed with smiles and a very excitable bride. I followed Jess onto the balcony where the make up was taking place and it was there I realised maybe the rain wasn’t the worst thing to happen. The balcony over looked the amazing Welsh country side, and I have to say – the glum weather had made it look even more beautiful.
As you can see by the photographs the sun decided to come out just in time, hurray! If the rain makes an appearance on your wedding day, my advise would be not to spend the best day of your life worrying about it. This is YOUR day and these beautiful tragedies is what makes it special. In 10 years time Jess and her family will look back on the morning of her day with smiles and now beautiful photographs to remind them just how unique it was.
