Kati and Chris’s wedding took place on Kati’s birthday – the 19th May 2016 in one of the most beautiful venues I have ever worked in, Delamere Manor. This classic yet contemporary manor house was once owned by the one and only Gary Barlow. The ceremony was meant to take place outside but unfortunately just before it started the rain decided to make an appearance. This really didn’t matter though as the inside is just as beautiful!
I met Kati and Chris a year ago at their friends wedding. It makes me extremely happy when clients have referred me to their friends, it must mean I’m doing something right! So thank you to Angela and Alex (who was also Chris’s best man) for putting them in my safe hands.
Walking into the manor house I was welcomed by Kati and her 3 beautiful girls. I was then led into one of the many stunning rooms to photograph Kati’s dress. And what a dress it was! She really did have her details spot on. The venue, the dress, the Jimmy Choo’s (*drool*), the acres of land, the flowers, the fairy lights. All rolled up into one big ball of vintage loveliness – my dream!
Once the rain finally decided to give us a break we were then able to take advantage of the 100 acres of countryside and stunning 6 acre lake. This unfortunately meant her Jimmy choo’s had to pay the consequences of the *slightly* damp grass, but Kati being as laid back and lovely as she is really didn’t mind (yay for laid back brides that will do anything for a beautiful picture!).
So you might say I had a great day at Kati and Chris’s wedding. I left with memory cards full of beautiful images and a massive smile on my face all thanks to the lovely couple, their family and friends and not forgetting the ladies who work at the venue.
Thanks for being great clients Kati and Chris and i’m so glad you love your pictures.
