Laura and Andy had their ceremony at the pretty… church in Chapel en le Frith.. They then moved onto their reception at the beautiful rustic Owen House wedding barn in Knustford. Laura wore a stunning custom made wedding gown by Julie Mitchelmore, which she was literally stitched into last minute! But totally worth it as she looked simply stunning.
They decorated the barn so beautiful with a simple vintage theme with a hint of pink tones in their flowers. The venue really didn’t need much as it is already so pretty. Unfortunately the rain did make an appearance on the day but it didn’t matter as Owen house is picture perfect inside and out. Their day was filled with lots of love from their family and friends – I drove home feeling all warm and fuzzy inside with the biggest smile on my face! These two have been the most perfect clients and I was so honoured to be photographing their special day.
Thanks again Laura and Andy for being so Lovely!
It was all sunshine and blue skies for Emma and Simon’s big day, perfect for their guests to enjoy the beautiful grounds of Highfield Hall.
Myself and Emma got on as soon as we met considering we both have daughters of a similar age. It’s always nice talking to other mums who are going through the same thing. We chatted about birth, crawling, feeding, sleep (or should I say lack of it) but as any Mother would agree, it’s all worth it when you see their cheeky smile. Emma looked beautiful on her big day and Simon looked dapper rocking his Navy blue suit and burgundy tie. However I must say the star of the show was their daughter, Luna, who had the biggest smile for her Daddy when she walked down the aisle! Take a peek…
On the 9th of June I captured the beautifuly relaxed wedding of Andy and Katie at the Cock O’Barton. For those who follow my work you will know this isn’t the first time I have shot a wedding here and I hope it won’t be my last! There’s something about this pretty little venue that makes every wedding so happy and relaxed. So if you’re looking to have a laid back wedding thats all about your friends and family I would seriously consider the Cock O’barton.
Katie and Andy got engaged on a family holiday in New York! They decided on a intimate country wedding that was all about their beautiful family and loved ones. All the little details in this wedding was done by Katie herself, just like me she is a Pinterest addict and enjoyed it so much she was sad the planning had come to an end!
It was such a pleasure to photograph their special day. I would just like to thank Katie and Andy for being such lovely clients and also to their family for making me feel welcome on the day.
I have been ridiculously excited to blog this wedding as it was the first one I photographed with my brand spanking new Canon 5d Mark IV!! If you’re a photography geek like myself you will understand why!

A few weeks ago I was lucky to photography the beautiful Laura and Andy at Etherow park for their engagement shoot. They chose Etherow Park as its where Andy proposed and where they spend most of their time walking their dog. They will be getting hitched at the end of July and having their reception at the stunning Owen House wedding Barn. I can’t tell you how excited I am to photograph their big day!
Keeping scrolling to see more of their pre shoot…
