Katie + Andy

Katie and Andy came to me just a few weeks before their wedding, they were in desperate need in a photographer after theirs had unfortunately fallen ill. I am so happy I was available on their wedding day as it was such a beautiful, intimate happy celebration filled with so many smiles from their family and friends.

It took place at a lovely country pub – The Cock O’barton (I would definitely recommend this venue if you’re  looking in having a small intimate wedding in the countryside).

Congratulations to you both and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world! Xx

“We are both so made up with how they have turned out they are so much better than I could have ever imagined. You have captured everything we wanted. I’ve shown a few friends last night and all my girls cried and said they where stunning. We both just want to say thank you so much for everything we have ever lasting memories of our lovely day. You have been a pleasure to work with and are an amazing photographer. I wish you all the best for the future and I will definitely be recommending you to anyone looking for a photographer.”

Kati + Chris

Kati and Chris’s wedding took place on Kati’s birthday – the 19th May 2016 in one of the most beautiful venues I have ever worked in, Delamere Manor. This classic yet contemporary manor house was once owned by the one and only Gary Barlow. The ceremony was meant to take place outside but unfortunately just before it started the rain decided to make an appearance. This really didn’t matter though as the inside is just as beautiful!

I met Kati and Chris a year ago at their friends wedding. It makes me extremely happy when clients have referred me to their friends, it must mean I’m doing something right! So thank you to Angela and Alex (who was also Chris’s best man) for putting them in my safe hands.

Walking into the manor house I was welcomed by Kati and her 3 beautiful girls. I was then led into one of the many stunning rooms to photograph Kati’s dress. And what a dress it was! She really did have her details spot on. The venue, the dress, the Jimmy Choo’s (*drool*), the acres of land, the flowers, the fairy lights. All rolled up into one big ball of vintage loveliness – my dream!

Once the rain finally decided to give us a break we were then able to take advantage of the 100 acres of countryside and stunning 6 acre lake. This unfortunately meant her Jimmy choo’s had to pay the consequences of the *slightly* damp grass, but Kati being as laid back and lovely as she is really didn’t mind (yay for laid back brides that will do anything for a beautiful picture!).

So you might say I had a great day at Kati and Chris’s wedding. I left with memory cards full of beautiful images and a massive smile on my face all thanks to the lovely couple, their family and friends and not forgetting the ladies who work at the venue.

Thanks for being great clients Kati and Chris and i’m so glad you love your pictures.

xx

Acara + David engagement

Acara and David wanted their engagement shoot to be a little different. So they swapped the pretty countryside and the fresh air for a back drop of graffiti walls and pebbled urban streets that is the Northern Quarter, Manchester.

Unfortunately their wedding venue let them down which left them in a bit of a rut. So instead of the stress in finding a new one and changing their date they decided to drop the fancy wedding and fly off to Dubai to get hitched – just the two of them! They then came home and threw a big party to celebrate with their loved ones.

Love can make you do crazy things, and sometimes it can take a hiccup with your venue to make you realise the real reason as to why you are getting married in the first place.

And for that I admire them.

So here’s to not sticking to tradition and following your gut instinct!

Congratulation you two x
